Mrs. Myrtle E. Galey, 69 years old, died suddenly in an automobile on her way home from her doctors Thursday at 5:30 p.m. She had been ill for several months but seemed to be improving. She lived on a farm two miles northeast of Whitesville. A native of Mace, Mrs. Galey was born March 24, 1881, the daughter of Robert and Martha Ellen Galloway. In 1899 she was married to Warner Galey, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Mace Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William Bennett, two sisters, Mrs. Ida Lanthers and Mrs Maude Grubb; three grandsons and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Mace Methodist Church by Rev. Carl Reppert and Rev. Earl Cogan. Burial in Mace Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the family residence after 6 p.m. Friday. - kbz
